Roger Mac Arthur

Roger, the Senior member of CarpentryWORKS.ie has over 25 years experience in the Design Build industry

 

Originally from Eastern Long Island, New York, Roger served his four year apprenticeship under German Master Craftsman, Raimund Skrabbitz in the Old World tradition, earning his own Master Certificate in 1987.

He began his own business, R. Mac Arthur & Associates, Ltd., soon after moving to New York City where he undertook every type of building project from Restaurant Design and Construction to Brown Stone Restorations and Loft Conversions, Light Commercial and Private, One-off Terraced Apartments on the Upper East Side.

In 1990 he moved his business to Palm Beach, Florida servicing the exclusive clientel on Palm Beach Island. His business quickly grew and encompased a wide range of services which included General Contracting, Architectural and Interior Design, Project Management and Architectural Joinery, Fitted Furniture production and Custom Painted Finishes.

In 2001 he moved his practice to Ireland, offering a complete Design & Build service, specialising in Architectural Interior Design and Construction. He employs a unique CAD Rendering System which allows the client to visualise and cost the finished project before any construction work has begun or any materials purchased.

He is a partner with Mark Feely, Steven Brennan and Nial Shanley in CarpentryWORKS.ie, acting as full time Designer, Project Manager and Director of Marketing. He is available at Ireland's Self Build & Renovation Centre, where the CarpentryWORKS.ie Display House is located, five days a week.
